VIE - Market and Liquidity Risk Analyst - Taipei - H/F
Your daily routine?
Within Risk Management and RISK Global Markets in particular, you are responsible for providing the Business Lines and Management with a dynamic analysis of market, liquidity, counterparty and credit risks vis-à-vis the various financial institutions and countries in which the BNP Paribas Group operates.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Contribute to the control of trading limits for traders based in Taiwan.
- Participate in the daily duties of the FXLM Asia Risk Team.
- Coordinate risk management for Taiwan with Regional Fixed Income Centres.
- Analyze market events and their implications for trading portfolios and report them to management.
- Analyse positions and identify, quantify and control risks in trading portfolios, mainly related to foreign exchange products and interest rate derivatives (linear and optional).
- Contribute to the control of market parameters and the fair valuation of trading portfolios; Analyse fair value provisions.
- Carry out and implement specific projects related to limit controls, stress tests, reporting and position analysis.
The working environment is important!
BNP Paribas Taipei is located in Tower 101 in Xin Yi's business district.
You will work in the Market Room where you will be the only RISK representative.
Inside the room, you will be in daily contact with merchants and merchants.
You will also be in daily contact by courier, telephone or videoconference with the other RISK Global Markets teams in the region (Shanghai, Hong Kong, Seoul and Singapore).
If possible, you can be expected to visit the teams in Hong Kong and/or Shanghai during the mission.

You have a solid knowledge of risk management and financial markets.
You have acquired first relevant experience (including work experience and alternance) on similar missions.
You are fluent in English and have a very good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), VBA, Bloomberg, Reuters and risk management tools.
You demonstrate adaptability and teamwork.
