Job Title: Assistant Vice President – Physical Security and Safety Services

 

Department: Admin & Facilities Management Group. (AFMG)

 

About Business line/Function: Physical Security and Safety Services

 

Position Purpose: 

  • To Provide Safe & secure working conditions in the office premises.
  • Deployment and implementation of Group/ Department Policies & Procedures for ISPL – Bagmane premise.
  • Implementation of Controls in various activities under physical security and safety.
  • To supervise access control management function at BNPP ISPL – Bagmane premise.
  • To supervise and maintain Fire Safety Controls at BNPP ISPL – Bagmane premise.
  • To supervise & manage contracted security services.

 

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

Physical Security & Access Control

  • Ensure implementation of physical security policy and procedures as issued by organization.
  • Introduction of new process and procedures as and when required.
  • Review of implementation by conducting periodic checks/verification
  • Overall supervision of electronic access badge management which includes access card inventory management, database management, I-Card Printing, Issuance/collection, review of logs/reports etc.

 

Implementation of Policy and Procedures

 

  • Ensure implementation of physical security policy and procedures as issued by organization.
  • Introduction of new process and procedures as and when required.
  • Review of implementation by conducting periodic checks/verification.

 

Safety Systems

 

  • Monitoring, Review and ensure upkeep of all the safety systems ( Fire Detection Systems, Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hydrants, Sprinklers, Gas based suppression systems )
  • Fire Evacuation Drill in consultation with BCP – In Charge.

 

Control & Compliance

 

  • Identify and implement appropriate Controls in the area of physical security and safety.
  • Ensure implementation of controls by periodic review.
  • Co-ordinate for criminal background verification or court checks & address verification of security staff and Night cab drivers as per the market practice.
  • Ensure compliance on all statutory provisions.

 

Vendor Management

 

  • Co-ordinate with service providers, suppliers to ensure quality of services.
  • Timely processing of vendor bills to ensure continuity of services.
  • Conduct periodic review meeting with service providers.

  • Good Knowledge of E-Security Systems.

Specific Qualifications: Any Certification on Physical Security Programs.

  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. 
  • Ability to deal with Team members, internal customers and external vendors/agencies.
