The Global Markets business of BNP Paribas helps its corporate and institutional clients leverage capital markets across the globe for their financing, risk management and investment needs. This encompasses a wide range of financial products ranging from foreign exchange to complex Equity Derivatives that are traded in financial markets across the globe 24/7. IT systems are integral to the business and are a key part of the value proposition to clients. These IT systems range from industry standard products for standard process automation to internally developed, often market leading IT applications. The IT teams owning these IT systems are made up of functions that include Technical and Application production support, Business Analysis & Project Management, Development & Maintenance and Quality Control. BNP Paribas India Solutions is an equal partner in these IT functions along with colleagues in other locations including Paris, London, New York, Tokyo, Singapore & Hong Kong. This partnership ranges from sharing the IT workload, executing global strategy to owning global applications offshore. The technology and engineering landscape is wide, encompassing almost all techniques and platforms. It continues to evolve and transform with the market with the business continuing to invest in it.
Client Reporting - REVAL
REVAL is a client reporting application. Daily& periodic reporting comprises of revaluation, trade, collateral, Dodd-Frank reporting, EMIR reporting, Clearing & Execution function and Billing/invoices.
Position Purpose:
Understand Booking to Client Reporting chain & Clearing & Execution business and provide a solution post analysis by understanding the business requirements from Clients, Sponsors, Stakeholders and create specifications, manage projects, stakeholder communication etc.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
1. Follow and understand the Derivatives Execution and Clearing flow, Bilateral trade, valuation and Collateral reporting flow. Understanding of Regulatory domain is advantageous.
2. Organize or attend meetings which will clarify the need and the options available for their implementation.
3. Write specifications for developers or other teams involved in the reporting chain.
4. Ensure that changes, you are in charge, are delivered correctly. Assist the testers in setting up test cases and validate their results.
5. Participate/lead the team meetings and help the team in the continuous improvements of our way of working
6. Train the team members and ensure the knowledge transfer
7. Support the IT changes and introduction of new patterns
8. Communicate with the sponsors and stakeholders and share the progress
9. Participate actively in the POCs, MVP activities and any new projects undertaken
