About Business line/Function:

 

 Cybersecurity & Digital Fraud Department's mission aims to structure, strengthen and harmonize IT risk management and cybersecurity for the overall BNP Paribas Group (approximately 30 entities) and:

  • Defining the vision and strategy for IT risk management and cybersecurity, and ensuring the implementation of this strategy within the Group’s operating entities,
  • Monitoring the security of the Group's information systems,
  • Steering the IT Continuity and Resilience strategy and methodological framework.

 The evolving Cyberthreats landscape increases the security risk of financial sector, that leads BNP Paribas to strengthen its Cybersecurity maturity, IT risk management and Operation Resilience.

Position Purpose

You will be part of IT Group Cybersecurity & Digital Fraud department In India. 

You will play a key role to develop India platform, ensuring core IT Continuity activities are performed by all the entities of the Group in compliance to the Group IT Continuity, Cyber security and IT Risk framework enabling the adequate protection of BNP Paribas.

 

Responsibilities

 

Functional Specifications 

· Draft functional specifications for enhancements to existing IT Continuity modules in ServiceNow (e.g., Asset Classification, Recovery Plans, Exercises, Dashboards), as well as for new modules related to IT Continuity (e.g., Datacenter Recovery Plans / Exercises). 

· Define screen layouts, business rules, and workflows tailored to resilience processes.

· Collaborate with the IT Continuity module product owner and development teams to assess and validate the technical feasibility. 

Development & Integration Follow-up 

· Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., weekly meetings, UAT sessions, story reviews) for continuity-related tooling projects. 

· Monitor development progress and promptly raise alerts in case of deviations or functional gaps. 

· Validate prototypes and interim versions of continuity modules. 

Functional Testing & Validation

 

· Design functional test plans and scenarios for IT Continuity modules before the go live. 

· Execute tests or coordinate testing campaigns with end-users (e.g., ICRO, Asset Managers, Asset Owners). 

· Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution. 

· Validate test results prior to production deployment. 

User Training & Support

· Promote effective user adoption of the IT Continuity modules. 

· Contribute to the creation of training materials, including user guides and knowledge base articles in ServiceNow. 

· Establish functional support channels (e.g., reference users, FAQs, dedicated helpdesk)

· Gather and analyze user feedback to enhance tool usability and relevance.

Education Level: 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

Experience Level

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, including at least 3 years in IT Continuity, Resilience, or GRC tooling.

Other/Specific Qualifications (if required)

Tooling Expertise: Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar platforms, especially in designing workflows, business rules, and dashboards.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage), virtualization, cloud services, and cybersecurity best practices.

Language Skills:

Fluent in English (spoken and written) for documentation and stakeholder communication. 

Intermediate proficiency in French is highly desirable for collaboration with local teams and end-users.
