Proxy Product Owner / Business Analyst – South Europe Technologies (S.ET), BNP Paribas Personal Finance 

South Europe Technologies (S.ET) is one of BNP Paribas Personal Finance shared services centers delivering the best IT Solutions to BNP Paribas Personal Finance entities around the world: 

  • Applications Management (Architecture, Project management, Development, and Quality Assurance).
  • IT Risks & Cybersecurity services.
  • Platforms management.
  • Data.
  • Ad-hoc, T&M development.

In this context, we are looking for a Proxy Product Owner / Business Analyst. 

As a Proxy Product Owner / Business Analyst, your mission is to define and share the Product Vision in collaboration with the Product Owners, maximizing the value of the products for which you will be responsible. You will work closely with stakeholders and development teams to support the product lifecycle, from ideation and solution design to implementation and support. 

Your main activities are to: 

  • Assist and support the Product Owners in all product-related activities.
  • Defend the roadmap, be the representative of the POs, manage the Product Backlogs,
  • Collaborate to find and implement solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of solutions together with the development teams.
  • Be the guarantor of processes established within the Data team, ensuring compliance and quality standards.
  • Centralize and ensure transparent information flow among stakeholders.
  • Lead and participate in all Agile ceremonies: Refinement, Daily, Sprint Planning, QAP, etc.
  • Define test strategies, test sets, and expected results in collaboration with business lines and external stakeholders, supporting the test manager as needed.
  • Validate tests with the team during sprints and carry out end-to-end IT test campaigns.
  • Ensure continuous communication with all stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Participate in product production support tasks as required.
  • Share progress and alert points at each meeting; monitor risks and associated action plans.

What we are looking for 

  • At least 5 years of experience, preferably in the Financial Services sector.
  • English level B2 or higher
  • Experience with Agile methodology
  • Strong ability to liaise and influence all levels of management and collaborate with multiple departments.
  • Demonstrated capacity to make informed decisions based on available information.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, particularly regarding IT and cybersecurity emergencies.
  • Knowledge of IT security and cyber security principles.
  • Experience with Test Campaigns and Query Tools.
  • Ability to anticipate business and strategic changes.
  • Proven leadership in meetings, seminars, committees, and training sessions.
  • Strong synthesis and simplification skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in managing IT/Business relations and leading change initiatives.
  • High analytical and resilience capacity.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of systems such as DWH, Jira, CACS, Tallyman, Confluence, CALMS, CODA.

Language Skills 

  • English: Fluent (B2 or higher)
