About the job
- The Credit Risk - Regulatory Reporting Specialist is responsible for execution the most complex processes within the Credit & Regulatory Reporting (C&RR) daily activities. Drawing on strong technical expertise and knowledge of the scope, the specialist ensures the production, accuracy and timeliness of deliverables both during production cycles and on specific ad-hoc assignments. In addition, the specialist contributes to the continuous improvement of C&RR processes
Your Main Activities Are
- Advise management on transversal and regulatory topics within the scope
- Follow difficult and complex problems and investigations related to the scope of activity
- Produce, collect and control risk data (credit, counterparty, market, equity and other assets) in the different tools (ARC, BMRC, Access Data Base)
- Produce reports at Group and sub-consolidated level, such as COREP Framework Own Funds/Large Exposures/Leverage Ratio, International Commitments, Country Risk, Pillar 2 - Short Term Exercise, Global Systemically Important Bank (G-SIB), Basel Monitoring - Quantitative Impact Study
- Prepare support documentation for each report validation meeting and present to the management and other stakeholders
- Coordinate and interact with all process stakeholders
- Produce and coordinate the Credit & Regulatory Reporting Quarterly Synthesis
- Participate in projects linked to regulatory changes, reporting enhancements, process improvements, regulators requests, IT developments, sourcing evolutions
- Drive quality and efficiency improvement by continuously reviewing and enhancing processes, procedures and data quality, including active involvement in testing phases
- Support the preparation and delivery of regulatory reports and contribute to new projects, particularly those related to new regulatory frameworks, such as Basel IV, in order to achieve group objectives
- On-board and provide operational training of new team members
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Risk and Controls
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office Pack, namely, Excel
- Proficient knowledge of MySQL
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Analytical ability
- Able to develop others and improve their skills
- Good communication skills
- Rigor and attention to detail
- Able to synthetise
