Position Purpose: We are looking for a SAILPOINT L2 support analyst for Identity Access Management Team. As a SAILPOINT support analyst, candidate should have vast experience in SAILPOINT Identity IQ trouble shooting with a broad understanding of Identity Access Management (IAM) processes and implementations. The role will be more focused on analyzing/troubleshooting and maintenance of the IAM system. The candidate should have a solid working knowledge of various IT systems/technologies and enjoy working collaboratively across teams. This position requires constant interaction with IAM development, testing, operations and security compliance teams to understand management processes, which must be re-engineered to work with SAILPOINT processes
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
· Ensure day-to-day availability and stability of IAM applications
· Monitor production systems and proactively identify issues
· Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within agreed SLAs
· Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions
· Execute production deployments, configuration changes, and application releases
· Monitor application health, scheduled jobs, and system performance
· Support maintenance activities, patching, and platform upgrades
· Coordinate with Infrastructure, Database, Middleware, Network, and Security teams during incidents
· Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles
· Participate in on-call support and major incident management
Contributing Responsibilities
· Contribute to automation of repetitive operational activities
· Support problem management by identifying recurring issues and improvement opportunities
· Collaborate with development teams on production defect analysis and resolution
· Participate in release planning, deployment readiness, and post-release validation
· Recommend enhancements to monitoring, alerting, and operational processes
· Support audit, compliance, and security activities by providing operational evidence
· Contribute to Disaster Recovery (DR) testing and business continuity initiatives
· Share knowledge, mentor team members, and maintain the knowledge repository
· Collaborate with business stakeholders and application owners to ensure smooth service delivery
· Drive continuous service improvement initiatives and participate in post-incident reviews
· Ensure reconciliation, aggregation, certification, and policy jobs complete successfully
· Support IAM integrations with HR systems, Active Directory, LDAP, APIs, and ServiceNow
- Support role, entitlement, and policy-related production activities.
- Validate production changes following releases
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
· 3 to 6 years of IAM support experience preferably on SailPoint.
· Deep knowledge of IAM processes and functions gained through experience
· Hands-on support experience with Java, Bean shell, JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, PowerShell, UNIX, LINUX and XML
· Hands-on experience on analyzing writing DB scripts, fine tuning of queries, Stored Procedures in Oracle/MsSQL
· Good support knowledge on REST APIs is added advantage
· Good knowledge on JIRA, ServiceNow is a plus
· Should have good analytical and logical reasoning skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· General banking domain knowledge is a plus
