Position Purpose
Supervise and manage the Credit Analyst team
Responsibilities
Managerial role:
- Supervision and management of the Credit Analyst team
- To ensure that credit proposals are completed in due time and in compliance with the quality standards of the Bank (efficiency and productivity), implying the monitoring of the whole credit portfolio and managing the calendar to avoid past due reviews
- To ensure that internal credit policies are applied and followed
- To master and continuously improve the credit processes
- To review the credit proposals prepared by the Credit Analysts when relevant
- Supporting team members to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the team
- Assessment of performances through the year and execution of the annual appraisals
- To ensure that adequate trainings are followed by the team members to improve efficiency and quality of credit analysis
- Coordination of the recruitments
Contributions:
- Support of Management: portfolio oversight and risk anticipation
- Participation in discussion of complex transactions and credit committees when necessary
- Support to Coverage and Business lines: reactivity, capacity to mobilize resources to support Business lines
- Regular communication with Business Lines, Coverage and APAC CTCM to improve the credit process
- Contribution to industrialization project as needed be
Permanent Control:
- Direct contribution to BNP Paribas operational permanent control framework
- Ensure that the work produced is comply with the operational permanent control, legal and regulatory framework and requirement
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Good credit analytical skills (includes sound understanding of basic accounting and financial principles)
- Good knowledge of credit process and bank’s credit guidelines
- Good general knowledge of banking products and services
- Good command English as well as communication / presentation skills (Korean is optional)
- Good managerial and interpersonal skills
- Good judgement, independent and creative thinking, able to work independently, able to express views and ideas
Specific Qualifications (if required)
MBA or Business Degree
At least 7-10 years of experience in credit analysis in Corporate Bank, preferably international bank
Experience Level : 7-10 Years
