About the Team 

  • IT Transversal & Functions (ITTF) is a division within IT Group (ITG), specifically tasked with building secure IT frameworks and delivering solutions and applications that support the core functions of the BNP Paribas Group.
  • In close partnership with 14 Group Functions, ITTF plays a strategic role in driving the implementation of IT plans aligned with functional priorities. Its mission includes ensuring the execution of technology roadmaps and contingency plans, and delivering services that meet internal performance and service level expectations.
  • Operating across more than 10 locations in 3 regions, ITTF comprises a community of over 2,500 professionals, managing 350+ solutions and applications critical to BNP Paribas. These include Financial Reporting, Stress Testing, Capital Reporting, Performance and Liquidity Management, Compliance and Regulatory Reporting, Operational Risk Management, HR Referential Systems, Procurement Processes, and more.
  • In response to an increasingly complex and interconnected environment, ITTF provides a framework for managing transversal topics that impact multiple functions. This approach enables the pooling of shared services, ensures alignment between functional and IT strategies, and enhances service delivery across the Group.

About the job

  • Responsible for designing data schemas, modeling data structures and perform data migrations
  • Ensure the management of releases on the concerned applications as well as monitoring databases performance
  • Trouble-shooting problems and supporting in all data related topics
  • Perform data infrastructure related activities

Your Main Activities Are

  • Design high-performance data pipelines
  • Design data models and visualizations to be launched in a production environment
  • Automate the end-to-end release of artifacts across environments
  • Participate in project code reviews

On-call duty during Quarterly Closings

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor's (3-5 years) in Information Technology and Computer Science
  • Masters in information technology and computer Science
  • More than 5 years of experience in Information Technology or Data Analytics
  • Database Management Microsoft SQL Server (Proficient)
  • IT Languages Python (Proficient)
  • Data Viz Blending Analytics Power BI (Proficient)
  • English (Fluent)
  • French (Nice to have)
  • Ability to synthetize/simplify
  • Good communication skills - oral & written
  • Ability to deliver/Results driven
  • Good analytical ability
  • Good knowledge of IT - Architecture
  • Experience on Business/IT relationship 
  • Client focused
  • Attention to detail
