Responsibilities
[Mission]
IT Engineer of IT service desk for BNP Paribas CIB Korea (Double hatted IT service)
The first level IT support for Korea CIB employees.
Local Proximity IT support (Desktop, local application, standalone PCs) and IT Infrastructure support for trading floor and non-trading floor respectively
Main missions and objectives :
- Client support (Desktop, application, voice and data)
- Network and telecom maintenance/administration
- Tech room (Server room) maintenance
- Local vendor management
- Functional administration of BNPP Paribas' standard banking applications
- Install/maintain DR site for emergency
- Maintain market data service and coordinate with APAC Market data service
- Deploy and ensure the well-functioning of in-house or regionally developed applications
- Support on local/regional/global projects related to IT Infrastructure
- IT Asset inventory management on a regular basis
Direct Responsibilities
- Assist clients with the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve unique desktop hardware and software problems on a daily basis and use her understanding of system products and services to assist users.
- Provide good IT service operations, develops and promotes relationships with both client and other counterparties.
- Ensure management escalation of high priority issue and prioritizes problem resolution.
- Work with vendor on purchase/troubleshooting of hardware/software (i.e. Dell, HP and others)
- Any other duties as required.
- Mainly support for desktop & infrastructure including standalone PCs
- IT Continuity & DR Drill – coordinate and participate annual DRs
- Project coordinator and lead for IT infrastructure
- Stability initiatives and operational excellence within environment
Contributing Responsibilities
- Contribute to stable operation of IT services providing by Korea CIB IT (Double hatted)
- Contribute to proceed any IT infrastructure projects initiated by local/regional/global level.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- 2 ~ 7 years experience in IT field (preferred Financial IT industry)
- A team player, responsible, self-motivated, committed, customer-oriented, with positive and proactive attitude
- Strong communication skills and customer-centric attitude
- Good understanding on business and attention to detail (Capital markets, banking, etc)
- Production awareness. Able to follow process and procedure
- Ability to work in multicultural atmosphere with foreign speakers
- Innovative and interested in new technologies.
Specific Qualifications (if required)
- Information Technologies or Computer licenses (if available)
- Proactive, independent and proven ability to work under pressure;
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean
Education Level - Bachelor Degree or Equivalent
Experience Level - At least 2 Years
