Position Purpose

As an Integration Engineer, you will be in a hands-on role which will focus on iterative learning, building, and demonstrating of skills on continually evolving set of Data Tools like DIS - NIFI, Data Transformation - Spark Cluster, Data Prep - DataIKU, Data Analytics - Power BI Reporting Server &  Tableau, Domino Lab/RStudio, DevOps tools and best practices across the organization including automated testing, provisioning, configuration management, service orchestration, and dynamic monitoring.

Strong expertise on Kubernetes/NIFI/Linux is required for this position.

You will work closely with both Application Developers and Infrastructure teams as part of Project Delivery.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

As an Integration Engineer, you will be

·         Handling/Analyzing Spark, Nifi log files and debugging cluster issue.

·         Supervising Nifi, Spark jobs using scheduler & optimizing it.

·         Taking care of Spark/Nifi Jobs management on cluster to improve the performance.

·         Ensuring security and data privacy.

·         Required to have knowledge on TLS 1.2 and Keystore/Trust store creation.

·         Developing reconciliation scripts for data tracking.

·         Performing POC independently and responsible to build, test & performance tuning in Services used in Data Platform ecosystem.

·         Responsible for troubleshooting issues on Spark, Nifi, Starburst, Kafka, API services

·         Responsible for Authorization and Audit tools management like Starburst (similar to Ranger policies).

·         Fine tune applications and systems for high performance and higher volume throughput.

·         Administration of Cluster Services like Spark/Nifi node management.

·         Experience with RDBMS like Postgres/Oracle

• Experience in administration skills for Nifi, or Spark cluster or similar ETL tools
• Experience with SAML/SMTP/TCP/HTTPS protocols 
• Knowledge on data Encryption algorithms and creation of encryption zones and encryption key management tools like Ranger KMS or KMS

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Qualification & Experience:  

• Total 7+ years of total IT experience working on data lake or data science initiatives with good mix of experience as given.
•  3+ years on Data Ingestion, Quality, Warehousing, Mining & ETL tools
•  3+ years into Data Lake/Data Warehouse / Data platform 

Mandatory 

• Hands on experience on Spark, NIFI cluster covering sourcing, ingestion, transformation, processing & consumption workloads.
• Strong experience in setting up data governance, data security, metadata management, Kerberos, Ranger Policy 
• Job Monitoring, debugging, Scheduling and Performance Tuning using Data Platform Operations Tools like Airflow, Autosys, Dynatrace 
• Administrator skills covering Kubernetes cluster operation, tuning, troubleshooting in multi-tenant environment, strong Linux Shell, java and python scripting is preferred.
• Data Platform Administrator skills covering NIFI or similar ETL tools

Good to have 

• Administrative knowledge on Spark or relevant tools like Hadoop
• Debugging knowledge on Tableau, PowerBI Reporting Server, Domino Lab, DataIKU
