Data Project Manager - Expert



Requirements

 

 

    • 10+ years in data management roles with demonstrable success in leading complex, non-standard, and large-scale projects within asset management or a related industry. 
    • Proven record of establishing or overhauling data governance, data quality, and data protection frameworks, coupled with advanced project management skills (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). 
    • Deep understanding of asset management processes, market regulations, and best practices for data lineage, metadata management, and enterprise data architecture. 
    • Proficiency with data governance tool sets, data cataloguing, and high-level analytics or BI platforms, including cloud-based ecosystems. 
    • Capability to architect solutions for complex data flows and design state-of-the-art data quality monitoring systems. 
    • Adept at translating strategic business objectives into operational and technical specifications for IT and data teams. 
    • Strategic Communication: Excellent ability to articulate complex data concepts to senior management, technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders. 
    • Influence & Collaboration: Skilled in building cross-functional coalitions and establishing a shared vision for data initiatives, even beyond the immediate team’s scope. 
    • Mentorship: Provides robust support to lower-level positions and peers, nurturing an environment of continuous learning and innovation. 
    • High-Level Decision Making: Exercises sound judgment autonomously, balancing risk, quality, and time constraints to drive optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities


  • Workshops with data domain to : understand their business stakes related to data & to deploy the data management framework as mentioned above
  • Support data domains in feeding Asset Management Data dictionary with critical data 
  • Support data domains in feeding Management Data quality control rules dictionary on all data domains
  • Implement Committees with data domain allowing them to review regularly their data management deployment Status
  • Implement committees with data domain allowing them to monitor data quality within their data domain.
  • Ensure the transition from a project mode to a BaU mode with the designated people with data roles within the data domains
  • Create or update procedures when the BNP Paribas group requires it or when additional BNPPAM events lead to a change in the procedure
  • Coordinate and make sure that the global Data office procedures framework is consistent
  • Communicate around those procedures and when necessary produce operational guidelines
