Description

Position Purpose

Services Division is in charge of developing Portfolio, Order and Advisory related application services to enhance and support the existing Front Office and Investment platform.

 

Key Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

  • Aligning goals and directions with Management and project team
  • Taking charge of overall budget setup/reporting and management of subsequent consumption activities by the team
  • Taking charge and ensuring project releases (timeline) are promptly updated and accurate in appropriate reporting tools
  • Organise and conduct committees at different levels to initiate discussion and track actions for any follow up between stakeholders
  • Identify and raise project risk and issue in a timely manner
  • Help to remove potential impediments of the project and raise escalation appropriately 
  • Ensuring WMIS project governance are strictly met/passed (Project kick off, functional architecture committee, IT validation, production implementation process etc)
  • Consolidating/preparing and representing steering committees (business sponsor update meeting) 
  • Prepare and ensure accurate reports to management (weekly reports and updates into reporting tools)
  • Follow up with multiple teams/squads, Infrastructure and testing teams to deliver the project

Contributing Responsibilities

  • Review test cases of SIT tester
  • Exchange functional solutions to BA Chapter
  • Contribute to support / incident analysis as required
  • Ensure that risks and issues are escalated to line manager

 

Requirements

  • 8+ years of overall experience performing project management 
  • Great listener to detect potential problems
  • Able to logically assess level of escalation 
  • Shows empathy for all project/supporting members
  • Detail oriented and good documentation skill is required
  • Experienced in Waterfall and Scrum methodology
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • High level of professionalism, patience and maturity
  • Team player
  • Banking knowledge related to Wealth Management / Private banking is a must
  • Certified project management certification is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
