AND IN DETAIL
As a Chapter Lead, you play a central role in supporting and guiding a group of IT professionals within your area of expertise. You combine leadership with people development, ensuring your team grows in both technical skills and mindset.
Your responsibilities
- People development & coaching : guide and mentor your chapter members, helping them build the right skills and shape meaningful career paths. Provide continuous feedback throughout the year and lead annual evaluations, including salary reviews.
- Talent acquisition & onboarding: recruit new talent based on the evolving needs of your department. Ensure new team members are well integrated and have access to the knowledge they need to succeed.
- Strategic resource planning: collaborate with other Chapter Leads on sourcing strategies that adapt to change and align with long-term goals. Maintain open, value-driven relationships with external partners and staffing providers.
- Support & expertise: act as a trusted point of contact for complex technical or organisational challenges. Help team members strengthen their agility – the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively in changing environments.
- Tribe leadership: represent your chapter in the tribe’s leadership team and contribute to the broader direction of the organisation.
- Culture & community building: promote a culture of open feedback, psychological safety, and trust. Sponsor one or more internal communities of practice – spaces where employees share expertise and grow together.

YOUR TALENTS AND COMPETENCES
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a relevant leadership or coordination role within IT.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and support developers and/or functional analysts is highly valued.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure fundamentals, with working knowledge of ITIL and Agile ways of working.
- A technical background in infrastructure technologies is a strong advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and relate to the needs and emotions of team members.
- Comfortable working within agile environments and familiar with the dynamics of agile teams.
- Naturally driven by innovation, with a mindset focused on continuous improvement and quality.
- Fluent in Dutch and/or French, both spoken and written. A strong command of English is essential.
