As a Security Architect you will play a vital role in securing our customers, employees, partners, data and ensuring system integrity. Diving into an environment where continuous learning is key, and your contributions make a real impact on our company's security.

• Within the Cyber Security department, you will work at the forefront of the bank's security efforts as part of the Security Architecture and Consultancy team. This team plays a critical role in shaping the cyber security architecture of BNP Paribas Fortis.
• You support the business portfolio by providing security expertise for large initiatives, projects and enhancements and influencing their evolution from a security perspective. You promote the adoption cyber security best practices throughout the enterprise.
• You establish and maintain enterprise security models, architecture, patterns and guidelines.
• You collaborate with IT architects to develop “secure by-design” application architectures based on security patterns, security requirements and risk analysis and ensure conformity with security rules and expectations.
• You take ownership of the security domain assigned to you, steering its evolution, taking initiatives when needed, actively sharing information with the team and within the bank.
• You build and maintain strong, influential relationships with IT and business responsible, enabling continual promotion of long-term cybersecurity goals.
• You influence security practices within the IT and business community through knowledge sharing and collaboration.

YOUR TALENTS AND COMPETENCES

• You demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas strategically, typically in English, with a solid knowledge of French and/or Dutch.
• You are collaborative and open-minded. You build strong relationships with security teams, cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
• You possess in-depth knowledge of general information security topics and their applications in real-world environments, as well as a solid understanding of IT security technologies and processes.
• You are skilled in designing, assessing and challenging solutions, with a focus on cyber security dimension.
• You have a deep understanding of cyber threats, risk management and compliance standards, enabling you to provide expert guidance on security-related matters.
• You have experience in IT architecture methodologies and structured security architecture methodologies (e.g. TOGAF, SABSA), and are proficient in creating conceptual and logical reference architecture documents.
