We are now looking for you with an analytical and communicative mindset to become our new manager of the Actuarial Reserving & Solvency II team. Someone who shares our commitment and sense of responsibility.
As Head of Actuarial Reserving & Solvency II you will…
… be responsible for a team of four actuaries and ensure adequate actuarial book closing on a regular basis, respecting current regulatory, legal and corporate frameworks. Prepare actuarial studies and support them with adequate reporting, complying with the company's profitability / risk policy.
The responsibility will mean to:
- Be responsible for coordinating the reserving and Solvency II team in the economic and prudential actuarial book closings,
- Be responsible for enabling the team to make its talent available to the company to contribute to its development,
- Analyze the profitability of the insurance portfolios with the required level of detail, facilitate and improve the tools and reports to make decisions,
- Prepare the budget deliveries on income indicators and perform studies on the new business value,
- Communicate actual and forecasted results to executive stakeholders within the organization through actuarial committees,
- Drive efficiency gains with the development of PowerBI dashboards and models in Python,
- Ensure compliance with the regulations for calculating the company's liabilities (Technical reserves and BEL),
- Be responsible for guaranteeing the information required by the regulator, parent company and auditors.

Our wishes:
- Degree in actuarial sciences and/or similar
- 5 years of experience with an actuarial and/or financial background
- Excellent Excel skill-set
- Python skills and/or SAS proficiency is a plus
- Experience managing large amount of data
- Fluent in English, Swedish is meritorious
