About the job
- The Compliance Officer’s mission is to contribute to the implementation of Compliance Market Integrity, Professional Ethics, Protection of Interests of Clients domains and Regulatory area in order to promote markets transparency and efficiency, adequacy of products and services, information transparency to clients and staff integrity through the respect of the relevant Compliance rules and procedures
Your Main Activities Are
- Contribute to the local implementation of the Compliance MI, PE, PIC and Regulatory frameworks applicable to the local organization based on Group/Business Lines Compliance policies and procedures
- Contribute to analyze the impact of norms and regulations evolution on Compliance MI, PE, PIC and Regulatory; help identify and implement any required development, monitoring and control setup through procedures, tools, controls and training
- Support BNP Paribas organization (Business Lines and other Functions) development by providing support in the guidance and decision implementation on Compliance MI, PE, PIC and Regulatory
- Manage the nearshoring framework, from a Compliance perspective
- Contribute to Compliance Permanent Control through the execution of 2LoD controls, KPRIs, risk assessments, internal controls and follow-up of historical incidents and action plans related to non-FS Compliance Domains
- Identify and escalate any major risks on Compliance MI, PE, PIC and Regulatory across BNP Paribas organization and the established escalation tools
- Contribute to and follow-up any action plans resulting from the execution of 2LoD GCP controls, risk assessment, audit missions, historical incidents on MI, PE, PIC and Regulatory
- Contribute to Compliance Reporting (both Regulatory Reporting to local authorities and Internal Reporting to Group/Business Lines Reporting) with Compliance Regulatory Assurance team and Compliance Business Lines on MI, PE, PIC and Regulatory
- Contribute to promote Compliance awareness through adequate training and communication; foster a culture of integrity through the respect of Compliance rules and professional standards
Profile and Skills to Success
- Master’s Degree in Law / Economics / Finance / Accounting or related
- At least 3 years of experience in Banking and Financial Operations / Compliance / Risk and Controls or similar
- Advanced level of English, both written and oral
- Knowledge in MS Office Pack (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to develop others and improve their skills
- Decision making
