Director, ERI APAC, ex-AU: to originate, execute, and manage transactions mainly in Power, Infra (including digital infra) and low carbon transition sectors within APAC (ex-Australia), in debt advisory and financing solutions .

Reporting functionally to Head of ERI APAC ex-Australia.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Origination: Preparation of pitches, term sheet, identification of new client opportunities, and presenting material where appropriate.
  • Execution: Lead transaction execution, including taking the lead on coordinating the due diligence, documentation, and preparation of the credit papers.
  • Strategy: Build BNPP’s thought leadership positioning in digital infra space as advisor and lead arranger, in addition to contributing to BNP Paribas' market leadership in renewables, new energies and low carbon financing solutions 
  • Portfolio: take a leadership role on all the accounts and supervisory role on accounts allocated to the team members, ensuring all annual reviews, waivers, KYC, information requests are responded to promptly.
  • Cost of Risk: to be kept under control and ideally at zero 
  • Responsible for meeting the budget allocated 
  • Client management: Day to day manage of existing clients, and marketing to existing clients
  • Mentoring Juniors: Assist the team head to manage the day to day activities of the Junior pool and train /mentor junior development 
  • Cross-sell: collaborate effectively with other métiers including M&A advisory, DCM and to be undertaken in an active manner across GM, trade and IB products
  • Ensure compliance with Bank’s policies/procedures and regulatory requirements, in particular with regard to the KYC responsibilities and duties, as per relevant policies and procedures
