About Business line/Function:

Global Market Operations (GMO) covers Front Office activities such as ALM/Treasury and Fixed Income local booking. GMO consists of various streams, Control and Investigations, Settlement, Collateral and Reconciliation. GMO teams are also in regular contact with Capital Market Middle Office, Regional Back Office’s and Regional Finance.

Position Purpose

APAC Cash equity settlements is complex and critical in nature and looking for candidates on back of attrition ,  to process high volume transaction daily and also during dividend season.

 

Responsibilities

  • Trade Matching
  • Trade Settlements
  • Fails Management
  • Collateral booking/ management
  • Liaising with all stake holders(Trade support/ Referential team/ Front office/ other stake holder)
  • Provide timely update on trade status
  • Escalate issues in a timely manner
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues in order to settle trades

Investigate into Nostro and Depo breaks and timely resolution of breaks 

 

 

Contributing Responsibilities

  • Knowledge in equities/ bonds products, systems, SLAB settlements business domain and Collateral management.
  • Knowledge in collateral/ MTM management.
  • Complete understanding of ‘Lifecycle of a Tarde’ and F2B understanding of trade flow
  • High degree of commitment in process issues resolution
  • Broad experience working in control functions within an investment bank
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Control oriented mind set – strict adherence to process/control checklists
  • Ability to communicate effectively within the team
