2026 APAC Long Internship (Jan - Jun)  – ALM Treasury Operational Permanent Control – Hong Kong

For:                  Undergraduate students in any disciplines from a recognized university
Duration:          6 months          

Start date:         January 2026
Location:          Hong Kong

Induction
 You will be provided with a comprehensive induction, where you will be immersed in group training and discover more about the BNP Paribas Group.

 

Training
 From day one, you will start your business specific technical and financial training, alongside personal skills development aimed at equipping you with the knowledge you need to get you the best possible start in your career. Working alongside our teams of industry leading specialists, you will gain on-the-job training throughout your 6 months programme taking you along a development path to build your expertise and broaden your base of skills. 

 

What you will do?

ALM Treasury has a unique position within the BNP Paribas, it is a Transversal Activity present throughout the Group in more than 50 countries, with around 600 employees fulfilling 3 operational missions which consist in:

  • managing the Group's liquidity position, both in business as usual conditions and in crisis situations
  • managing the interest rate risks in the banking book
  • managing operational and structural foreign exchange risks


ALM Treasury to operate in the financial markets and partner with all of the Group’s entities.

 

As an ALM Treasury Operational Permanent Control intern, you will:


Give an overview on ALMT APAC activity through the operational control perspective:


  • Performing the control plan on ALMT APAC activity;
  • Coordinating the annual self risk assessment across the region;
  • Monitoring and analyzing the historical incidents and related control plans;
  • Helping prepare the relevant committees in the region ( ICC, TAC/NAC ect...);
  • Participating in maintaining an updated control framework and procedures;
  • Contributing in establishing and maintaining an ALMT APAC dashboard.
