Position Purpose

The candidate will be responsible as a techno functional resource for executing the functional and regression tests in Identity and Access Management domain. The candidate must have good hands-on experience on manual functional and Regression testing. The candidate should be well versed with working effectively in agile methodology. Candidate is also expected to coordinate with onshore/offshore teams.

 

Responsibilities

 

Direct Responsibilities

·  Understanding testing principles and practices 

·  Ability to plan, design, and execute test cases

·  Able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams

·  Should have functional Specification Analysis Experience

· Work in close co-ordination with development and support teams and ensure adequate coverage of requirements.

·  Closely work with Dev teams/BA to resolve technical & business issues and to develop a good understanding of the project and testing objectives.

·  Must have good analytical skills.

· Must be able to articulate the requirements and convert them to test cases and must be able to do test design.

· Should be able to do risk analysis and must have knowledge on tools like ALM for defect management.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams

·  Must be flexible, independent. Perform other testing-related duties as required

 

· Functional Testing experience from 4 to 9

 

Contributing Responsibilities

 

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Knowledge of computer architecture and tools for manual & auto testing, unit testing, integration testing, functional testing and bug-tracking systems.
  • Demonstrated success in software development lifecycle management (SDLC).
  • Experience in working with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or Robot Framework.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical soundness, data analysis acumen and troubleshooting & programming capabilities.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
  • Experience in project management and QA methodology
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
