Position Purpose

Working under supervision of the IT Development Technical Lead, and hand in hand with the Team Project Managers and Business Analysts - in Agile governance framework mode - the IT Full Stack Senior Developer assists in: 

· Executing the development work resulting from user requirements, identified defects and requests for enhancements, and the rolling-out of the DPS solutions portfolio amongst APAC and Worldwide. 

· Proactively cooperating in the user requirements technical specifications, coding in appropriate languages, working on segregated DEV, UAT, PROD and DR environments, executing the testing phases, elaborating the go-live playbooks, handling L3 technical support. 

· Actively participating to the Agile framework happenings (backlog feed, prioritization, writing epics and user stories, sprint planning, testing phases). 

· Assisting the Technical Lead technical in producing the necessary documentation as per standards, included but not limited to technical documentation, test cases, architecture diagrams, and status reports. 

· Actively participating in the update and maintenance of the team SharePoint / Wiki repository 

· Using effective soft skills allowing to work as a team despite multiple geographical locations: clear spoken and written communication, face-to-face and through MS Teams and Skype Messenger

Specific Qualifications (if required)

Must-have specific development skill sets

·         Excellent proficiency with front-end development using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.

·         Validated hands-on experience with frameworks like Angular and Angular.js

·         Deep proven experience in server-side languages such as Java and NodeJS.

·         In particular, proficiency with server-side languages such as Java 8 + Spring Boot and Hibernate is necessary.

·         Proven work experience building back-end APIs, along with debugging bugs.

·         Knowledge of REST, web/http services, JSON, messaging, authentication/authorization, WebSphere MQ

·         Familiar in using version control tools (GIT, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines.

·         Have a deep understanding of web servers like, HTTP Web Servers, Apache, Tomcat.

·         Strong experience on DB technologies and query languages: Relational (SQL query) such as Oracle or Non-SQL (such as ELK or Mongo)

 

Additional IT Soft Skills 

·         Jira (Agile mode): create epics, user stories, setup sprints, assign backlog entries to sprints, and extract reports.

·         DLP Symantec solutions: proven experience in understanding the infrastructure individual components of the stack (enforce, e-mail prevent, e-mail monitor, web monitor, network discovery, endpoint prevent) + management of the DLP console.

·         Good understanding of IT infrastructure topics such as Windows/Linux OSs, various types of webservers, application servers and databases, in order to be able to keep the inventory of hardware and software layers up to security and performance standards.

·         Encryption solutions: data in motion and data at rest.

·         Messaging solutions: SMTP, MS Exchange, IronPort.

·         SharePoint: creating libraries, creating views, granting permissions, basic HTML customization.

·         MS Office Suite: Word (including designing templates and mastering stylesheets), Excel (advanced functions as well as basic VB), Outlook, PowerPoint.

·         Communication tools: MS Teams, Skype Messenger.

·         Ticketing system: ServiceNow, Jira.
