Position Purpose / 職務の目的

The 2nd LoD Finance has the full responsibility to review and challenge the correct deployment of controls designated in the FINANCE Generic Control Plans (check & challenge), and test effective performance.

 

Responsibilities / 職務の責任

Direct Responsibilities

  1. To assess risks associated with most severe impact and least risk tolerance
  2. To test effectiveness of any process where decision-making governance on the closing critical path
  3. To achieve, demonstrate and document the comprehensive coverage of the Finance domain of expertise with a risk-based approach
  4. To check and challenge controls performed by 1LoD as well as self-risk assessment

 

Contributing Responsibilities

  1. To support the Accounting team as “expert consultant” on specific demand (without any operational work as required by 2LoD position)
  2. To support the remediation of control deficiencies and associated processes, in particular when recommended during audits and inspections
  3. To advise CRFO on any technical or organizational matters when required.

  1. Insurance Accounting under Japan and International standards (JGAAP & IFRS)
  2. Transversal expertise across various insurance business lines is a plus
