Description

Your Main Activities Are

 

Overall point of contact for GM Americas (GMA) CICG organization on all needs related to usual course of activity (BAU)/escalations, strategy, budget, projects, improvement efforts, and regulatory engagements 

 

  • Receive/analyze requests from CICG staff and either directly or through relevant stakeholders facilitate in its resolution / fulfilment
  • Proactively engage on projects and improvement efforts to increase efficiency and robustness of CICG involved processes/governance and framework. This may include (but is not limited to):
    1. CICG Infrastructure (technology/process) improvements
    2. Dashboarding/analytics/KPI to better monitor performance and drive client/strategic insights
    3. Enhancing client experience/excellence
    4. Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives
    5. Participation and response to regulatory enquiries / audits
    6. Budgeting process (e.g. headcount, expense, revenues)
  • Work closely with relevant global & functional stakeholder to ensure coordination and global alignment

 

Business Management for Market360, Structuring & Solution Sales in the Americas

 

·       Responsible business manager for Market360, Structuring & Solution Sales in Americas

·       Be a trusted partner and advisor to each department heads and team

·       Drive/contribute to all topics related to their scope of activity and drive continuous improvement efforts

o   Tool & process improvement

o   Performance tracking (team & individual)

o   Hiring pipeline maintenance with HR

o   Budget process (headcount, expense)

o   Audits & regulatory engagements

 

Contribute to a robust GM Americas Control, Conduct, Compliance and Risk framework

 

·       Work with Compliance, OPC, Conduct and Supervision teams to ensure client and CICG activities are fully compliant at all times (e.g. Code name policy, Pn policy, Client complaints)

·       Support functions / escalate to avoid overdue KYC recertification files

·       Active contribution to remediation tasks where applicable

·       Where relevant, active involvement in Regulators and/or Internal Audit inquiries 

·       Key contributor / lead for GMA on all client suitability projects in the Americas

·       Where relevant, contributor in adapting GM Americas activities to new regulations

 

Ensure strong relationship with:

 

  • COO/BMs in the Americas and in other regions.
  • GBL and Sales management in the Americas
  • ITO: CLM, OCRM, ITO Management
  • Business Partners regionally and globally: Compliance, Legal, Risk, FIC/Coverage, Drive and Finance

 

 

Profile and Skills to Success

 

  • Academic background in Business Management, Economics or Finance or similar areas (preferential)
  • An overall understanding and interest in the financial world 
  • Fluency in English (mandatory)
  • Excellent communication skills and client focus
  • Strong team work while being able to work autonomously 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and organisational skills
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Tableau and/or PowerBI – (Intermediate)

 

 

Work schedule:


 

We are seeking a motivated professional to provide dedicated support for our United‑States operations. The successful candidate will work from our Porto office, aligning their schedule with the U.S. business day to ensure that American customers, partners, and internal colleagues receive timely and effective assistance.

The role operates on Lisbon‑based hours (GMT + 0) that correspond with U.S. working hours. In practice, the two standard shift patterns are:

  •  Early shift: 12:30 pm – 9:30 pm
  •  Late shift:  2:30 pm – 11:30 pm
