Would you like to join a skilled Engineering Team that delivers first class applications for our businesses and clients around the world?
Our mission is to build a team of French speaking on Mainframe application using Cobol and to work with our colleagues from BNPP Group in France.
Your role is to manage and execute the technical projects and contribute on the release management process according to the business needs and BNP Paribas standards, being involved in all phases of SDLC based on Agile framework.
Key responsibilities:
- Create and maintain up to date the Cobol components referential
- Define and communicate the release calendar based on the freeze periods
- Prepare the packages for each version release and inform all development teams
- Ensure release packages to be ready and compliant with BNP standard rules before promotion
- Involve in the definition of plan for test environments refresh, night batch scheduling, business test execution
- Participate and present the projects list to be deployed in the Change Advisory Board
- Collaborate with all teams across the Group to maintain the release plan and execute it correctly
- Prepare transversal communication with all stakeholders involved in release
- Shared knowledge about his/her area of expertise, best practices and provides technical support
What we are looking for:
- Relevant experience in COBOL programming
- Medium/Advanced level of French (B2)
- Good English skills
- Experience with Mainframe, JCL, DB2, ChangeMan, Excel, VBA
- Experience in proposing / designing technical solutions
- Experience in creating technical specifications
- Experience in drafting / implementing the release plan
- Technical university degree
- Good level of communication skills, being a rigorous person with analytical skills
