Description
The Territory IT Proximity Support is an onsite technical support from a specialized support agent to help resolve technical issues. The proximity support is triggered primarily when the L1 remote support is not able to fix incidents remotely or when delivery of a request needs a local action. These actions include hardware and workplace related issues like repairing a desktop, replacing a spare part, etc. In some cases, the proximity support agent might take devices or gadgets back to the manufacturer or provider for repair. Furthermore, the proximity support will keep the asset inventories up to date.
Le Comptoir Campus is represented by all IT Proximity Support members. Incidents and requests are handled by ticket systems provided by IT Group. Timely and professional management of the queues and tickets to achieve user satisfaction while following the predefined SLAs.
The Computer Network Administrator will have the following responsibilities:
a) IMACD service - Install
Installation and verification of new systems.
Installation of the latest validated OS on computers (with all last security updates).
Computer accessories and peripherals installation such as mouse, keyboard, screens, headset, webcam.
Corporate phone installation; software installation (if not possible remotely).
b) IMACD service - Move
Movement of existing equipment to new locations (this activity may comprise additional costs when using movers’ services).
Move a computer from a position to another within the building.
Move accessories and peripherals from a position to another within the building.
c) IMACD - Add
Addition of new accessories, memory, or processor upgrades.
Provide computer accessories and peripheral such as mouse, keyboard, screens, headset, webcam on managed buildings.
Provide corporate phone accessories such as case, protection glass on managed buildings.
d) IMACD - Change
Change to existing configurations.
Computer replacement on managed buildings.
Corporate phone replacement on managed buildings.
Change computer accessories and peripheral such as mouse, keyboard, screens, headset, webcam on managed buildings.
e) IMACD - Dispose
Equipment uninstallation and disposal of uninstalled systems or products through our Asset Management Services.
Computer removal on managed buildings.
Corporate phone removal on managed buildings.
Computer accessories and peripheral removal such as mouse, keyboard, screens, headset, webcam on managed buildings.
f) Network
Providing Network L1 Support
Helping hands to L2 central support teams
Support incident investigation
Availability during changes for testing and on-site support, which may occur outside business hours
Active contribution for planning of network changes within L1 scope
f) Others
Ensure availability of Video conference systems and meeting room technologies
Support setup and maintenance of meeting room technologies
Training other staff members on troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
Meeting room Support
Asset management
On call services depending on entity or location requirements and agreements
What qualities do we look for?
As a Computer Network Administrator, we expect very good knowledge in the following areas:
- Minimum: three years of IT experience
- Basic banking products knowledge highly preferable
- Fluency in English in written and verbally
- Reliable and responsible
- Able to work autonomously
