Job Title:  Java-Selenium Developer (Associate)

Position Purpose: Looking for a candidate with 3 to 5 years of experience, motivated and enthusiastic with Selenium and Java skills to join our dynamic team. In this role, candidates will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Automation test suites for web applications and APIs. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to grow their technical skills and gain hands-on experience on world class applications within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

•            3 to 5 years of experience in developing automation scripts using Selenium, Java and TestNG to develop automation scripts for web applications, APIs, and UI/UX validation

•            Implement TestNG framework for test execution, parallel testing, parameterization, assertions, and reporting (ExtentReports).

•            Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) for regression, smoke, and sanity tests.

•            Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and business analysts to define test scope, priorities, and automation feasibility.

•            Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specs to identify test scenarios (functional, regression, cross-browser, performance).

•            Awareness of Agile/DevOps practices and ability to adapt testing approaches in fast-paced environments

Contributing Responsibilities

•            Analyzing defect trends and recommending test automation opportunities or tool enhancements

•            Contribute to improving Junit coverage for apps

Technical Skills:

• Experience in developing automation scripts using Selenium, Java and TestNG to develop automation scripts

o   Good Java programming skills with expertise in OOP and multithreading.

o   Experience in automate API calls using RestAssured, Postman to validate system integrations and microservices

• Expertise in using Extent framework to create automation results
• Proficiency in SQL for backend validation and data integrity testing in complex databases (Oracle).
• Experience with test management tools (Jira Xray) and collaboration platforms (Confluence, SharePoint).
