About the job
Produce financial analysis to enhance the performance of the different business units and help them taking the best decisions based on timely and accurate reports. Work actively as a finance business partner.
 
 Your Main Activities Are
 ▪ Lead the relationship and be the business partner with the business lines and/or functions, coordinates improvement actions on the activities of the scope.
 ▪ Guarantee of the proper allocation of the "actuals figures" by Business Line and by expense nature.
 ▪ Analysis, control and monitoring of headcount and expenses on a monthly basis (actual vs forecast/budget).
 ▪ Produce the management control reporting to Head of Territory and Local Businesses. 
 ▪Ensure the balance between accounting and performance management.
 ▪ Produce forecast and budget process.
 ▪Produce the management of the quarterly invoicing to internal clients. Ensure the coordination and control of their booking and payment with all stakeholders.
 ▪Produce the necessary information and analysis ad-hoc to support Top Management.
 ▪ Produce other ad hoc analysis for internal or external clients.
 ▪ Contributes to transversal projects related to the transformation of the function, as such the specialist anticipates the transformation areas, informs and communicates to foster change within the team and with their clients and contributors.
 ▪ Continuous improvement of the team’s processes.
 ▪ Contribute to the onboarding of the new joiners.


 
 Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or any similar areas 
  • At Least 5 years experience on Project Management or banking and Financial Operations
  • Advanced level of English fluency, both oral and written 
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Tools, particularly Excel, Word and Powerpoint 
  • Great verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
  • Reliability and capacity to deliver results with strict deadlines, polyvalent, flexible and able to adapt
  • Expertise on finance and performance analysis
     

About the Team
Our mission is to cover all aspects related to accounting, performance management, tax and invoicing in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring - among several other aspects - that BNP Paribas' financial statements are in compliance with the Portuguese legislation, and providing support for management decisions. Besides the local business of the branch, we provide a dedicated support to all the hosted services, namely in what concerns tax and tax invoicing.
