Associate EWM

This position is based in Lugano.

As Associate Wealth Manager EWM in Lugano, you will provide essential support and assistance in daily EWM activities (administrative, execution and commercial support). 

You will work closely within a small, dedicated Team to manage all EWM desk processes and procedures, acting as the primary point of contact across a range of critical activities. 

Your role will be integral to maintaining high standards in compliance, quality assurance, and business development within our EWM Ticino Team.

YOUR WORKDAY

Act as the main contact for EWMs and Relationship Managers regarding:

• Daily management of main banking activities (payments and transfer services, loans and credit, online banking).
•  Daily management of trading, execution, and settlement requests. 
• Oversee KYC lifecycle events, including reviewing and commenting on Client Information Profiles for account openings, periodic reviews, and updates.
•  Monitor compliance and follow up on AML (Anti-Money Laundering) matters.
• Serve as a link between the First and Second Line of Defense, facilitating communication and compliance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of EWM processes and procedures.
• Build relationships with existing and prospective EWMs by identifying their needs and attitudes to increase share of wallet.
• Connect and network with BNP Paribas Group to deliver all our integrated capabilities to EWMs and clients.

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in Banking/Economics/Finance or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in the External Wealth Managers division in Ticino Region, Switzerland.
• Strong knowledge of AML regulations and sanctions.
• Fluent in Italian and English. French is an advantage; German would be appreciated.
