Responsibilities: 

Strategic Planning & Market Insight:

  • Articulate and execute the Securities Services Americas development plan for the HF and Liquid Alternatives services, fully aligned with the global 2S Alternatives ambition, risk‑mitigation principles and product‑innovation roadmap.
  • Provide strategic insight on market, regulatory and client dynamics specific to liquid alternatives and traditional hedge fund structures.
  • Analyze 2S positioning in the region, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats—including credit risk and liquidity considerations.


Go‑to‑Market Alignment & Growth Enablement: 

  • Define a consistent, prioritized regional development plan that integrates global ambitions with local market nuances for both hedge fund and liquid alternatives solutions. 
  • Identify and prioritize strategic growth opportunities - considering and managing financial and non-financial risks - in the region and ensure regional development plans are aligned to global ambition and integrate regional dynamics, in coordination with the global Client Line team.
  • Review and validate local Go to Market strategies for the Client Line, ensuring they incorporate HF & Liquid Alts specificities and adhere to centrally defined risk mitigation principles.

 

Value Proposition, Product & Solution Innovation: 

  • Contribute to the global value proposition definitions, tailoring it to address the operational, financing and reporting needs of liquid‑alternative funds as well as traditional hedge funds.
  • Identify needs for new solutions/ product capabilities in the region considering local inputs and contribute to the global roadmap
  • Contribute to the definition of the global operating and client experience models, and ensure proper roll-out at regional level

 

Pricing, Profitability & P&L Ownership: 

  • Lead pricing and profitability analysis for new deals.
  • Own regional HFS & Liquid Alts P&L, fully taking risks into account and ensuring full alignment with global Client Line P&L objectives
  • Support regional pricing policy development for both product lines, ensuring alignment with global guidelines and market competitiveness.

 

Resources Optimization & Brand Building: 

  • Contribute to AI teams, including Client Line country team, the US Go-to-Market community, and Product heads to optimize the distribution of resources across the region.
  • Promote 2S solutions in partnership with Client Development and peer regions, supporting sales campaigns that target both hedge fund and liquid alternatives prospects.
  • Deliver thought leadership and superior insight to clients, prospects and market influencers on the combined HFS & Liquid Alts offering through industry events, webinars and publications.
  • Strenghen & develop the 2S brand in the Americas.


Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in the US Alternatives space, with expertise in Hedge Fund & Liquid Alternatives Services
  • Proven track record of product expertise 
  • Business development skills and ability to build Alternative Investors client relationships
  • Collegial attitude focused on both individual and team production
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to build a community across multiple locations 
  • Impeccable conduct and respect for a strong compliance culture and regulatory framework


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrated expertise in alternative‑credit strategies, covering liquid credit, public credit, structured credit and/or private‑credit investments.

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $200,000 to $250,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
