What is this position about?

Permanent role within GTS operations to manage end to end delivery Trade Finance banker’s guarantee project.

What would be your typical day at BNPP Paribas look like? 

The operations Project Manager will participate in the end to end delivery Trade Finance banker’s guarantee project, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Acting as the central coordination point, the Project Manager will drive cross functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and apply best in class project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, etc.) to achieve business outcomes.

Primary Role Responsibilities

•    Participate and act as the operational expert for Trade Finance Banker’s Guarantee project.

•    Collaborate with key stakeholders such as IT, local operations, project and transformation, GTS, legal, compliance.

•    Understand functional requirements, ability to articulate and document user requirements and participates in review sessions with key stakeholders.

•    Participate and Conduct review/walk through sessions with local operations for UAT 

•    Track and monitor production issues post roll out

What is required for you to succeed?

•    Minimal 5 years of trade finance operations experience or project management experience

•    Detailed understanding of Banker’s Guarantee (Must)

•    Relevant knowledge on Trade finance  systems and experience as system user will be advantageous

•    Experience in requirements gathering, functional testing of new systems

•    Possess strong written and verbal communications skills; adept at translating technical concepts for non technical audiences

•    Demonstrates good work ethics and is able to deliver within tight timelines
