The position at a glance
This role supports the Fund Administration department by managing daily Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations and essential support functions to ensure accurate financial services for our clients. You will contribute to the maintenance of mutual fund accounting books as part of a professional team dedicated to excellence in financial reporting and compliance. The position plays a key part in delivering contractually delegated services that uphold BNP Paribas’ commitment to reliability and service quality.
In detail
- Calculate daily Net Asset Values (NAV) by managing various instrument types to ensure timely delivery in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Validate and justify all reconciliation breaks in Transfer Agency (TA), Cash, and Stock to maintain the integrity of each calculated NAV.
- Develop and review standard operating procedures for migrated processes to ensure all documentation remains complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Monitor group mailboxes and respond to queries promptly to maintain high levels of client service and communication.
- Execute ISAE 3402 checks during the production of NAV packs to ensure 100% compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Support fellow team members and analysts with daily tasks and knowledge sharing to foster a collaborative working environment.
- Propose process improvement or automation initiatives each quarter to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Perform month-end and year-end ad-hoc duties to support the department during critical financial reporting periods.

- Bachelor’s in Economics, Finance or Accounting
- The knowledge of English is required.*
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fund accounting.
- Expertise in Multifonds for efficient fund administration.
- Reasoned problem solving when generating creative solutions to operational challenges.
- Collaborative teamwork when supporting analysts and sharing product knowledge with the team.
- Responsible workload management when planning tasks and prioritizing duties in an organized manner.
- Committed attention to detail when performing rigorous checks on NAV packs and reconciliation breaks.
- Supportive communication when expressing ideas clearly and effectively in both individual and group settings.
- Adaptable mindset when responding to evolving market conditions and client needs.
*Given the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply. Professional working proficiency in English language is required.
