Joining BNP Paribas Advisory BeLux, you will be part of the largest and #1 team focusing almost exclusively on Mergers & Acquisitions advisory in Belgium.

Your job

•    Structuring, analysing and executing transactions on behalf of our clients

•    Developing innovative and thought-provoking presentations addressing key strategic questions and potential options for our clients

•    Building and managing complex financial models (operating model, DCF, LBO) to help develop key judgments as well as transactional documentation

•    Guiding and coordinating junior work resources (interns and junior analysts) including reviewing financial modelling work and various presentations

•    Managing live deal execution including coordinating with other advisors, facilitating due diligence and generally ensuring smooth transaction processes

Your profile

We are looking for candidates that can demonstrate the following traits:

•    Excellence in both academic and extra-academic activities

•    Master’s degree (or equivalent) in finance, economics, law or other relevant fields

•    2-4 years’ experience with executing M&A transactions involving deal origination, information memorandum preparation, transaction negotiation

•    Experience with building and reviewing financial models in MS Excel such as operating, DCF or LBO models 

•    Experience with managing multiple workstreams while coordinating with clients, external advisors and internal resources

•    Strong team player, attention to detail, high stamina

•    Fluency in English, Dutch and/or French
