About Business line/Function:

The Global Markets business of BNP Paribas helps its corporate and institutional clients leverage capital markets across the globe for their financing, risk management and investment needs. This encompasses a wide range of financial products ranging from Foreign exchange to complex Equity Derivatives that are traded in financial markets across the globe 24/7. IT systems are integral to the business and are a key part of the value proposition to clients. Position Purpose

Position is to fulfill requirement of Senior Test Manager in ISPL GM IT Risk Staging team to lead strategy of QA deliveries with needful hands on target technical and functional skills. Will be in charge of set of QA teams to drive in line with road map from ISPL.

 

Responsibilities

 

Direct Responsibilities

 

The role will require an accomplished Senior Test Manager covering below responsibilities - 

 

  • In charge of QA teams covering Risk platform suit of applications and deliveries representing from ISPL by working with central teams covering technical leads / developers / BA/ Users.
  • Need to have hands on exposure on target technical stack and functional domain detailed in mandatory skills section below to drive and contribute QA deliveries covering automation and manual testing (Integration/ Regression/ Non-Regression/ Performance/ Security testing/ Functional aspect).
  • Along with strong QA exposure, provide functional support assistance to the team, especially during execution of critical business processes
  • Oversee evolution of multiple systems in domain, define QA team delivery roadmaps and engage with stake holders
  • Define strategy of QA technical platforms with stability, automation and simplification as main drivers
  • Define strategy to hire the best talents for the teams and devise continuous learning path for team.
  • Organize and running meetings with central teams with needful transparency.
  • Adopt and Own to the strategic direction of the new platform
  • Own and follow governance practices in place.

Contribute to follow technical and architecture standards where applicable.

 

 

Contributing Responsibilities

 

  • Contribute in identification of technical debt of application and to plan for addressing the same on time.
  • Contribute towards minimizing manual testing and maximizing automation in QA deliveries and QA environment management.

 

 

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Mandatory Skills:

  • Working knowledge on Global Markets Risk platform systems covering FO Risk management with needful exposure on Credit and Fixed income asset classes.
  • Exposure on architecture of multiple systems (Service oriented Architecture/ Micro Services Architecture/ Distributed Systems/ Multi Agent Systems/ Desktop and Web Applications)
  • Hands on exposure covering Automation test Scripting & frameworks covering Regression/ Non-Regression/ Security/ Performance testing. 
  • Python, Powershell
  • SQL  / Oracle
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • DevOPS
  • Managing set of teams with strong Communication and problem solving skills.

 

Nice to have Technical Skills

  • Excel/VBA

 

 

 

For the non-tech skills (any of the below are a great plus for consideration):

  • Project Management (Life cycle awareness/ Vendor management/ stake holder management)
  • Agree to be on-call to provide over-night/out of hours support where required (not regularly)
