About the job

  • The IT Margin and Risk team sits inside the Prime Services department. Its mission is to support the RiskTeam by delivering reliable, productiongrade IT systems that calculate margin, provide datafeeds, APIs and reporting services that the RiskTeam and other downstream systems need for their daytoday work
  • You will work in a global, multiregional team that collaborates across Europe, APAC and the Americas on a common portfolio of marginrisk applications. The team shares code, standards and bestpractices, ensuring a consistent and highquality product suite regardless of where the developers are located

Your Main Activities Are

  • We are looking for a Java Developer who will
  • Design, develop and maintain highperformance backend components (REST services, batch jobs, streaming pipelines) that compute, store and expose marginrisk metrics
  • Write clean, testdriven Java code and help keep the CI/CD pipeline healthy
  • Contribute frontend code (Angular or React) when needed, ensuring smooth integration of UI widgets with the server side
  • Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews and the squad’s Agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives)
  • A solid grasp of both backend development and the business context of supporting the RiskTeam is required

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Finance / Mathematics or related
  • At least 3 years of experience in Java development or similar
  • Advanced level of English, both written and oral
  • Knowledge in Agile
  • Ability to collaborate / teamwork
  • Creativity and innovation / problem solving
  • Core Java (Java 11 or later), strong OOP and functional programming concepts.
  • Spring ecosystem – Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security
  • Experience with Sybase, Oracle, and embedded databases (H2, SQLite) via JPA/Hibernate or plain JDBC
  • Handson experience with Apache Flink (or similar streamprocessing frameworks) and familiarity with Kafka/AMQP
  • Multithreaded design, Java concurrency utilities and performance tuning
  • Design and implementation of MVC, RESTful services; API versioning and documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger)
  • Unittesting (JUnit, Mockito), integration testing, CI pipelines (Jenkins, GitLabCI).
  • Ability to contribute Angular or React components; solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Proficient with IDEs (IntelliJ/Eclipse), logging frameworks, profilers and Git
