About Business line/Function:

ISPL Compliance Hub is focused to protect the reputation of the Group and effectively manage risk across all business areas by providing support to various Compliance functions. At present, the department is broadly organized into divisions, which embed into the areas they support to provide services for Global Compliance Training, Capital Markets Surveillance, Electronic Communication Surveillance, Compliance Migrations Co-Ordination, Personal Account Dealing, MIS and Projects support. Position Purpose

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Analyst, to be based in Mumbai. 

The role of the BA is to provide support, implementation and industrialisation of Digital initiatives across business lines and is responsible for troubleshooting in their area of responsibility. Evaluates risks and ensures the viability, usability and durability of the digital solution. Strong understanding of advanced technology used in AI and RPA domain, working in Compliance domains, stakeholder management will be key drivers for the role. This is an IC (individual Contributor) role.

Direct Responsibilities

  • Perform assessment of use cases and processes across various locations & business lines and assess whether the processes are a suitable candidates for automation using AI and/or RPA technologies.
  • Contribute as an individual contributor (BA) in assigned Robotic and AI projects, liaise with functional and Business heads to build solutions and deliver solutions end to end. 
  • Analyse feasibility, manage priorities, liaise with diverse range of participants form Technology, Functions and business lines

·       Support in Formulating solutions and draft functional specifications. 

  • Effective and timely communication of project status, development progress among all project participants. Updates on actions and follow up with dev. / cross functional teams
  • Engage, initiate and oversee UAT testing and signoff process for the projects undertaken.
  • Support the change management of the processes with the onshore teams including risk mitigation
  • Provide support post go live and work towards replicability of proven solutions
  • Be able to bring objectivity to the review of latest technologies and analyse the cost implications, scalability and regulatory requirements while implementing new technology (e.g. machine learning, AI, blockchain and their relevance to compliance processes)

 

  • Contributing Responsibilities
  • Stay up to date with projects assigned to self and Local team, Manage Stakeholder expectations w.r.t Projects support, Planning and communication. Ensure RPA governance framework is adhered to by the team.

·       Keep close contact with your clients, which enables you to identify, analyse and document their requirements and complaints

  • Deliver appropriate reporting content, KPI metrics to beneficiary and Local management, with continuity of reporting and transparency on actions as per agreed KPI
  • Efficient tracking of Project progress, feasibility assessments, efficiency analysis, solution design and implementation plan.
  • Proactively communicate with ISPL Management and on-shore users in case of issues or other related topics.
  • Support in drafting and communicating - BRDs, Solution Design Documents, Operating procedures, KPIs, workflows, PPTs and promotional presentations.

 

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Experience in business analysis and project management. Experience in IT projects is preferred. Experience of managing RPA projects and a strong advantage for candidates with AI knowledge.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders, end users and cross-functional teams
  • Project management skills, Organizational and presentation skills
  • Able to work independently on assigned projects with limited supervision and also support/ monitor team assignments.
  • Able to make informed decisions on a wide range of complex business ideas and technical issues.
  • Experience in Compliance disciplines or banking or FinTech domains with an exposure to banking products and systems will be very useful.
  • Knowledge of latest technologies including machine learning and cognitive computing technologies, AI, Data analysis tools, SDLC and Agile methodologies will be preferred.
  • Experience working within a project team (as BA and PM) in a Global matrix environment will be a valued addition.

 

Specific Qualifications (if required)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or suitable relevant experience justifying the fitment
  • Overall 5+ years’ experience and relevant years of experience in digital and transformation projects (RPA, AI, Machine Learning, LLM, Python automations, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of Business intelligence tools, RPA platforms, Python, JIRA, Tableau, PowerBI, MS Visio, MS Office/365 and other similar tools used in Project management is desirable.
  • Exposure and understanding of compliance processes such as Professional Ethics, Market integrity, Trade surveillance, AML & CTF, Sanctions, etc. is a great value addition
  • Self-driven, working knowledge of compliance control framework and Risk methodologies.
  • Professional training and Certification on Banking and Financial products, product development, AI, RPA and Machine Learning will be an added advantage
