About Business line/Function:
Created in 2009, BNP Paribas CIB Consulting & Transformation (CIBC&T) is an in-house management consultancy with a strong presence in EMEA (~100 consultants in Paris, Lisbon, and London) and a global reach thanks to an integrated network in APAC & Americas (~100 consultants).
The team works on strategic initiatives defined by CIB Senior Management. It has a strong track-record with 600+ projects accomplished to date. CIBC&T is a competitive alternative to leading, external consulting firms, covering the full consulting value chain: from framing, diagnosis, and delivery of actionable recommendations, to designing effective implementation and enabling change.
BNP Paribas CIB Consulting & Transformation (CIBC&T) India is a newly created team, globally part of CIB Consulting & Transformation based in Paris and locally linked to the business management scope of BNP Paribas’ center of expertise India Solutions Private Limited (ISPL). Its goal is to advise BNP Paribas’ Management, participating in the framing, design and implementation of high-impact projects and operating models’ transformations aimed at supporting global Functions & CIB Business lines and notably the development of the local territory and (global) center of expertise (India Solutions Private Limited – ISPL).
Position Purpose:
Junior consultants within CIBC&T contribute to provide strategic support to Senior Management in the transformation of BNP Paribas India (territory), its global center of expertise, India Solutions Private Limited (ISPL), and BNP Paribas CIB globally, in collaboration with BNP Paribas CIB Consulting & Transformation as well as CIB Consulting APAC and CIB Transformation APAC. Junior consultants participate in the framing, design, and follow-up phases of strategic projects. Some travel might be required on an ad-hoc basis.
Responsibilities
Project management:
· Perform quantitative and qualitative research and analysis to support ongoing projects and practices.
· Create and take ownership of basic models and provide support to the development of complex business cases.
· Prepare and participate in workshops and meetings using relevant techniques and providing insightful results.
· Prepare, structure, and conduct project presentations to clients.
· Develop client-tailored solutions for previously structured problems.
· Seek proactively to participate and help the team beyond the assigned duties.
· Execute the tasks assigned respecting time schedule and deadlines.
· Communicate and receive constructive feedback both in formal and informal ways.
Connectivity and teamwork:
· Contribute to establish collaborative relationships with internal clients while maintaining independence and the capacity to challenge them.
· Develop their network and relationships with clients on a regular basis (middle management).
