Description
Position Purpose
The position consists in leading the development of the QIS franchise in Asia both in terms of sales support (AxJ) and products developments.
- Maximize QIS CC with AxJ Clients: For AxJ, he will support sales with ideas generation and marketing pitch-books for QIS. The idea includes origination through direct exposure to clients to seize their needs and represent our products and capabilities. It includes complex QIS projects to grow our overall footprint with clients including Tier 1 accounts. This will be performed in close coordination with Europe QIS teams.
- Asian Underlying QIS: He will design and coordinate the offering on QIS based on Asian underlyings. He will liaise with local CSU trading and relevant global teams to create and animate the offering.
- Coordination of the progress of the different QIS deliveries in the global prioritization committees representing both Japan and AxJ.
- This role implies a close and seamless coordination and collaboration with Europe QIS teams, CSU trading teams, local sales force (AxJ) and AxJ / Japan Structuring team.
Responsibilities
- Design, innovation, simulations of QIS related solutions
- Provide and push QIS innovation to Asia sales
- Presentation marketing of QIS and potentially equity / hybrid derivatives products.
- Liaise with the rest of Asia EQD structuring team and global QIS structuring teams worldwide to be up to date of the latest products / ideas / initiatives.
- Ensure proper compliance to the different QIS governance and corresponding procedures
- Promote solutions adapted to the client's needs
- Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines

- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, Code of Conduct’s and Group's internal compliance requirements including, especially, Financial Security and International Financial Sanctions, Know Your Customer due diligence, Client Interest Protection, Market Integrity and Professional Ethics.
- Has completed necessary compliance training to maintain appropriate business and compliance level of knowledge and understanding in order to be fully competent to undertake the role.
- Contribute to the Permanent Control framework
Technical and Behavioral Competencies required
- Extensive knowledge of Equity derivatives, and local law/regulations around structured products
- Ability to code and handle different valuation or simulation tools.
- Disciplined to work on middle-long term solution business.
- Technical background
- Understanding about history and style of business about structured funds in Japan
Experience and Qualifications required
- Ideally a previous experience in QIS and EQD structuring (internship)
- Track record of marketing structured products to Japanese financial institutions, and distributors
