About Business line/Function: Arval Test Center ISPL (ATCI)

Position Purpose: 

As a Data Engineer, you will be part of an international team working for squads located across several countries.

You will play a critical role to improve data management on test environments.

To do so, you will contribute to reduce and control the volume of data on test environments, mask these data to be compliant with GDPR & BNPP rules and optimize the refresh processes.

Responsibilities

-          Reduce the volume of data in test environments:

·       Maintain existing scripts in case any fix or enhancement is required 

·       Identify and analyse new data candidates for volume reduction

·       Build the script to purge or reduce these data

·       Test the script on test environments

·       Communicate to business the impacts and agree on a planning

-          Mask sensible data in test environments:

·       Maintain existing masking scripts in case any fix or enhancement is required 

·       Identify sensible data which should be masked to allow GDPR & BNPP compliances

·       Identify the suitable masking algorithms

·       Analyse the impacts of masking with business users

·       Mask the data

·       Perform some tests

·       Communicate to business the impacts and agree on a planning 

-          Optimize refresh process:

·       Identify the refresh steps candidates for optimization

·       Design the solution for optimization

·       Implement and test the solution

·       Communicate to business the improvements

Contributing Responsibilities

-          Secure the service level objectives:

·       Contribute to the availability, integrity and quality of the test platforms

·       Rebuilding the service in case of incidents, by mobilizing adequate resources

-          Secure test strategies

·       Contribute to test strategies definition

·       Maintain the data strategy documentation

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

As a Data Engineer, you have more than 2 years of experience in improving data management in contact with business users.

You are motivated by learning new technical and business activities in an international context.
