Business Overview of BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking – Marketing and Digital Officer, Distribution Business Italy
The Strategic Marketing team works side-by-side with the Sales team in order to promote investment solutions (such as derivatives and structured products, bonds, quantitative funds) within the Italian market. The team is in charge of structuring and optimizing the right strategies - both on product and communication marketing – to communicate and sell the products to a wide range of client segments (financial advisors, distribution networks, private banks..). The full comprehension of the products and the innovative approach to the market are essential features to the success of the team.
Based in Milan, the main mission will include:
- Market watch: competition and market trends analysis
- Development and innovation of marketing strategies (payoff explanations, product pitches, brochures, follow-up and development of internet websites and digital tools)
- Creation and manage of marketing campaigns (video, product pitches, brochures, banners and ADV) for important Italian distributors on a wide range of products
- Client facing missions
- Participation to the development of advertising campaigns for the Italian market
- Social media management
- Measure and monitor sales performance and website/campaign KPIs
Primary Responsibilities
The Italian Distribution team is in charge of the distribution of cross-asset structured products in the Italian market. It encompasses a wide range of products, activities and distribution channels. The products range goes from Investment and Leverage Certificates to funds and insurance solutions while the distribution channels include BNL, Retail & Private banks, financial networks and the so-called direct listing for self-directed clients. The Marketing & Communication team support transversally all the activities of the Distribution team, for what marketing, communication and events are concerned.
Given the above, the role implies the following responsibilities:
- Provide an outstanding support to the sales activities, including pre- and post- services, educational and clear communication to investors and counterparties;
- Create marketing materials (video, product pitches, brochures, banners and ADV);
- Manage social media posts;
- Measure and monitor sales performance and website/campaign KPIs
- Manage priorities and projects development making sure marketing resources are well spread among different product types and distribution channels, also considering the potential P&L;
- Ensure the respect of applicable regulation and Compliance, Legal and Corp Comm guidelines;
- Coordination with the Lisbon Nearshoring teams: including the Italian MCE team based in Lisbon, Digital and Web teams;
What we expect from you
- Education: Master Degree in Marketing and Communication or Graphic Design;
- Behavioral skills: Ethical standards, teamwork and analytical approach; proactivity and problem solving attitude; excellent written and verbal communication skills; attention to details; creativity.
- Technical skills: Fluent English (written and spoken); proficiency with MS Office and Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro); good knowledge of marketing technique; proficiency in Video Production.
