Graduate Program EMEA Advisory Group (EAG)
This position will be based in Zurich. You start in Zurich on the 1st July 2025.
The Graduate Global Banking EMEA Program – Investment Banking track, is designed as a real experience accelerator to boost your professional development.
You will join BNP Paribas CIB (Corporate & Institutional Banking) through a rotational 12-month program. This means two 6 months rotations, one in Zürich and one in Paris, to allow you to better understand the different activities of investment banking.
What will your first 12 months look like?
You will be part of the EMEA Advisory Group (EAG). EAG is a department of Global Banking EMEA, within CIB, and consists of a team of around 200 Junior Bankers, from Analyst to Vice President, who support the Directors and Managing Directors of M&A EMEA and Industry Groups. The team has its main hub in Paris with over 80 juniors and has geographic offices in Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, UK, Dubai, Netherlands, Switzerland and Portugal. It includes a cohort of European graduates recruited from different countries and sponsored by a member of the Global Banking EMEA Management Team.
Your journey will start with a specific two-week development program from the Investment Banking Academy (7th to 18th July 2025), covering both technical and soft skills. It will take place in the BNP Paribas Training Campus near Paris, France.
Then, for your first six months rotation, you will either join the investment banking team in the heart of Zürich or in Paris. During your rotation in Paris you will be based in a dynamic business district, near Opéra.
After the first six months, you will switch locations.
YOUR TEAM
The BNP Paribas office in Zürich has a growing CIB presence, with a local Advisory Team on the ground since 2021. Currently, more than a dozen bankers focus on CIB business.
Your work day
You will work within a very international and challenging environment. Some examples of your assignments in these different positions:
- Contribute to the preparation of presentations and pitches to support key marketing efforts around Europe,
- Carry out research on sectors and companies, analyze of operational benchmarks, valuation work, by synthesizing information from various sources,
- Perform financial and risk analyzes to facilitate discussions with the bank's internal partners, develop and adapt financial models,
- Contribute to the proper execution of projects (preparation of marketing and meeting materials as well as financial models, process management),
- Support the marketing of transactions including the development of the strategy, schedule, target investors, collection and analysis of comments,
- Participate in the training of interns working in the team,
- Interact with internal partners (legal, research, compliance).
Throughout the Graduate Program you will continue to benefit from an adapted junior development program. After these two rotations, you will be assigned to your target role, in a permanent position as a senior Advisory Analyst in Zürich, Switzerland.
Are you our next Graduate?
The Graduate program is intended for people with less than 2 years of professional experience from the date of graduation.
You have a master degree diploma from a business school, engineering school or university equivalent with solid knowledge in corporate finance and financial modeling. In addition, you have gathered some initial experience in Corporate Finance, M&A or Debt Markets/Leveraged Finance via internships or work-study and you have shown a willingness to immerse yourself fully in these demanding jobs. Ideally, you are fluent in both German and English.
In your past assignments, you will have demonstrated your proactivity and your communication skills. You are rigorous and have a strong collaborative spirit.
