Job Title: Associate - Analytics

Location: 787 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019

Duties: Execute consulting and evaluation of next-generation trading/analytical tools. Perform market structure analysis and quantitative techniques. Measure and manage transaction costs and performance analysis. Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) research and reporting, as well as conducting bespoke execution analysis. Cultivate and grow relationships with external clients in transaction costs and performance analysis areas. Develop and maintain knowledge of market structure, microstructure, and TCA to bring informed perspective to research process. Collaborate with global teams and ensuring global analytics solutions are deployed globally. *Telecommuting permitted 40%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas Securities Corp. office in New York, NY.

SALARY:  $150,000 - $200,000 / year

Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent) in Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and three (3) years of experience in financial analytics OR Master's degree (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent) in Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and one (1) year of experience in financial analytics. Must have one (1) year of experience with the following: KDB+/Q; large datasets time series in excess of one hundred million entries and the complexities; creating and presenting results from P&L, post-trade, and internal risk analytics; basic statistics including distribution, regression, and statistical tests for moving outliers; and building data visualization such as Tableau, PowerBI, and Panopticon.
