IT Telecom Engineer
This position will be based in Geneva.
YOUR TEAM
Join a team of 5 telecom engineers within the IT production teams, responsible for managing 2 data centers and their associated infrastructure (networks, security, monitoring, etc.). You will contribute to the availability, performance, and security of critical systems in a demanding and innovative technical environment.
YOUR WORK DAY
- Daily administration of network elements Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint, F5
- Work closely with central teams (ITG Paris) and follow Technical Operating Model
- Validating next OS versions, upgrade path and patching of network devices
- Obsolescence management
- Vulnerability treatment
- Contribute as a technical expert on project involving network functions
- Study impact of planned changes and follow the change management process using Service Now
- Provide level 2 and 3 support in the treatment of network incidents or problems
- Keep up to date procedures, diagrams and technical documentations
- Use various tools for monitoring, configuration backups, vulnerability, obsolescence and hardening
- Contribute to optimization, mutualization and standardisation of network architecture and processes
- Coordinate operations with various vendors, third parties and other internal teams
YOUR PROFILE
- Experience level: At least 5 years
- Education level: Master Degree or equivalent (> 4 years)

Technical skills :
- Firewalling (Fortinet, Checkpoint, Palo Alto)
- Certificate Fortinet NSE4, NSE5 or NSE7 (expected)
- Network L2/L3 (Cisco, Switches, Routers, VRF)
- Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
- Certificate CCNP (appreciated)
- Cisco ISE
- F5 Loadbalancers ASM, LTM
- Proxy McAfee - SkyHigh
- Infoblox DNS – DHCP
- Solarwinds (monitoring, config backup, compliance, hardening, Vuln mngnt)
- ADVA Multiplexer
