Our integrated platform ensures clients have everything they need in one place, across asset classes and across the world. Global Markets can be relied upon to deliver best in class derivatives solutions, strong financing and balance sheet capabilities, stability and commitment to markets for the long term The Swiss EQD And Cross Asset Solution team is responsible for providing multi-asset investment solutions to Institutional and Qualified Investors in Switzerland (ex-corporates). The candidate will join a sales team based in Zurich. The individual will manage his/her own clients’ book and actively be part of a well-recognized and successful sales set up.
The successful candidate will specifically market and advise Cross Assets Solutions to our Institutional clients with a value add on Fixed Income Solutions business by marketing the bank’s platform broadly, proactively seeking market-driven opportunities, providing best-in-class execution capabilities and increasing revenue to grow the bank’s SoW on recurrent risk management topics.

YOUR WORK DAY

• Promotes, markets and sells the firm’s brand, full range of Cross-Asset (Equity Derivatives, FICC) Solutions to new as well as existing institutional clients in Switzerland.
• Ensure senior coverage and build trusted relationships within direct client coverage
• Opens and monitors accounts, consults with clients, develops and describes appropriate trade ideas for accounts in coverage, executes transactions with BNPP trading teams and books the deals accordingly
• As appropriate liaise with relevant internal risk functions: legal, compliance, market and credit risk management as well as direct contribution to BNP Paribas operational permanent control framework
• Ensures compliance with all existing and future regulatory policies and makes sure all credit lines are being respected
• Raises relevant issues (business, risk, compliance, fraud, clients etc.) in a timely manner to direct management and/or relevant functions
•  Coaches, develops and fosters the skills of less senior professionals within the team and helps them to achieve their professional objectives in compliance with Group code of conduct, procedures and regulations
• Contributes to franchise development by enhanced cooperation between trading, structuring and sales
• Ensure regular cross-selling of among all global business lines and among all Swiss teams
• More specifically with Insurance Companies, leverage on his senior relationships to increase penetration of the GM whole product suite including Flow products, in close coordination with the relevant FIC officer(s)

YOUR PROFILE

• A solid experience as Director in a bank of equivalent rank to BNP Paribas.
• Recognized expertise in promoting Equity Derivatives and Fixed Income Derivatives products in Switzerland.
•  A history of significant transactions in the field of structured solutions
• An ability to cooperate cross-asset and to generate tangible results.
• A solid portfolio of institutional contacts in the region.
• A proactive, ethical, and results-oriented approach.
