About Business line/Function:

ITG is a group function established (2019) in ISPL with presence in Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru. We collaborate with various business lines of the group to provide IT Services.

BNP PARIBAS, the leading bank in the European Union and a leading international player, is seeking to complement and reinforce its existing teams in the areas of IT risk management, cybersecurity and the fight against digital fraud.

Within IT Group, Informatics Directorate of BNP Paribas, the Cybersecurity & Digital Fraud Department's mission aims to structure, strengthen and harmonize IT risk management and cybersecurity for the overall BNP Paribas Group (approximately 30 entities) and:

-Defining the vision and strategy for IT risk management and cybersecurity, and ensuring the implementation of this strategy within the Group’s operating entities

-Monitoring the security of the Group's information systems

-Steering the IT Continuity and Resilience strategy and methodological framework

The evolving Cyber threats landscape increases the security risk of financial sector, that leads BNP Paribas to strengthen its Cybersecurity maturity, IT risk management and Operation Resilience.

Position Purpose

Provide a brief description of the overall purpose of the position, why this position exists and how it will contribute in achieving the team’s goal.

 

Responsibilities

 

Direct Responsibilities

 

Responsible for setting up Risk IT Cyber solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

Example of Modules: IRM (Integrated Risk Management, SecOps (Security Incidents), CMDB, Entities Mgmt., Controls, Audit Management

Contributes to the phases of feasibility analysis and design, brings an expert opinion on the feasibility and complexity of implementation in ServiceNow

Produces technical feasibility analysis, gap analysis, design proposals, macro estimations, scripting, reporting

Analyzes the User Requirements provided by the Product Owners and challenges the proposed needs, brings proposals that aim at the standard use of the product and the implementation of 'best practices’ 

Translates the functional need into technical solution 

Writes design papers, parameterization, architecture, flow diagrams and documents for production and maintenance 

Develops (parameter) the functional need in ServiceNow IRM and SecOps, ensures the testing of the development 

Collaborates with the technical, functional and security architects in the realization of deliverables for architecture instruction bodies (CVIT)

Collaborate with the PO, provide estimates of effort and time Identify risks and dependencies 

Provide maintenance and technical support for the solution in production 

 

Identifies and proposes solutions to optimize, fine-tune and simplify the application

 

Contributing Responsibilities


  • Collaborates with the technical, functional and security architects in the realization of deliverables for architecture instruction bodies
  • Mentors and coaches other team members on technical topics.
  • Contribute to hiring activities
  • Optimize performance by monitoring response time

 

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Information Security technologies, Database and application security, Network Architecture, Database /Application /Network Layer Secure Protocols, Physical and Environmental Security, mobile & cloud security concepts

XML, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, TCP/IP

Proficient in building and mapping business requirement into ServiceNow Platform

Experience on IT Risk Management (IRM / GRC) solutions (ServiceNow, Enablon, Archer or other GRC Systems)

Strong skills in ServiceNow notions : ITSM, CMDB, Workflows, Access Control, Reporting, Performance Analytics, Flow designer 

Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

Solid analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to think globally
