Bond Trader

Main responsibilities:
* Execute trading of sovereign BRL-denominated fixed income products, including government bonds (NTNs, LTNs, LFTs).
 * Provide pricing and liquidity for clients (institutional investors, corporates, and internal desks).
 * Develop and implement trading strategies to capture market opportunities while managing risk within defined limits.
 * Monitor local macroeconomic indicators, monetary policy, and market developments affecting the BRL bond market.
* Maintain and grow relationships with clients, sales teams, and counterparties.
 * Collaborate closely with sales, research, risk management, and back-office teams to ensure efficient trade execution and settlement.
 * Ensure compliance with local regulations (e.g., BACEN, CVM) and internal risk management policies.
 * Contribute to daily P&L, risk reporting, and ensure accurate trade capture in systems.
 * Proactively manage liquidity, funding costs, and market risks associated with the trading book.
 * Participate in developing new products or market opportunities within the BRL fixed income space.

 Position Requirements:
 * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
 * Proven experience as a trader in BRL fixed income markets.
 * Strong knowledge of Brazilian government bonds and relevant market instruments.
 * Deep understanding of local market dynamics, monetary policy (SELIC, COPOM), fiscal policies, and regulatory environment.
 * Solid risk management skills, including Value-at-Risk (VaR) and stress testing.
 * Proficiency with Bloomberg, trading platforms, and Excel; coding skills (Python, VBA, or SQL) are an advantage.
 * Strong communication skills in English and Portuguese (mandatory).
 * Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.
