Job Title: Assistant Manager - BO/BI Developer

Position Purpose:
Position for Business Objects Developer with strong experience in the creation and maintenance of universes and PowerBI skills to build reports to join our international team. The role involves working on the development and modification of universes and reports for BO for the LoanIQ project, an application where deals are booked, and/or develop/maintain Dashboards in PowerBI for ATLENTIC.
The position will give you the unique opportunity to contribute to our business transformation Program and to work closely with the project teams, to ensure the end delivery provides valuable insights on the business.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
· Study user requirement, develop specifications, design, code program, test and implement systems in line with Group standards and regulatory requirements IN ORDER TO meet user (business) requirements.
· Develop and maintain reports and universes using Business Objects 4.2 and 4.3
· Develop and maintain reports and universes using Power BI solutions based on the Microsoft BI stack
· Develop and maintain SQL queries (complex)
· Maintain and improve existing BI setup and solutions.
· Collaborate with the BI, project, software development and production support teams
· Participate in follow-up meetings to ensure project progress and alignment.
· Conduct unit testing to ensure the quality and accuracy of the reports and universes.
· Translate user requirements to technical specifications, data models and mapping
· Support User Acceptance Tests
· Develop and execute adhoc database queries and conduct analyses
· Update technical documentation
· Help implement and follow best practices
Contributing Responsibilities
· Contribute to hiring by conducting technical interviews in ISPL
· Contribute in Code reviews and maintaining the quality of the application.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
· PowerBI proficiency: PBI Desktop, DAX language, Power Query, M language, PBI Report Server, RLS
· SQL Server proficiency (SSMS Environment:/ Advanced T-SQL)
· Basic knowledge of Oracle PL-SQL
· Good knowledge of Microsoft SSIS (Create and Debug Packages, Deploy to SSIS Catalogue)
· Microsoft SSRS proficiency (Report builder)
· Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio data tools
· Knowledge of Statistical analysis, Data visualization
· Good understanding of Star/Snowflake Scheme modelling
· Proven experience in Business Objects development, including the creation and maintenance of universes and reports.
· Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate closely with users, business teams, and IT.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
· Experience in writing technical specifications and conducting unit testing.
· Ability to work in an international, English-speaking environment.
