Position Purpose

Performance of compliance duties as an integral part of Compliance Dept in Seoul Branch

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities – FS/KYC Domain

• Analyse AML Actimize Alert
• Set up and review pre-defined rule of Actimize alert
• Transaction Review and Approval (Cash & Loan, TSO)
• Analyse SWIFT and SUN Fircosoft/ CASE Alert
• Monthly Report to APAC (Financial Security Incident report, SAR)
• Perform Name Search
• Participation in CAC
• Management of group FS/KYC procedures and update changed local laws/regulations
• Gap analysis and set up local add-on of KYC local requirement
• Reviewing/advising MSCQ process via EP and liaising with regional Compliance
• Assessment of negative news of clients
• Preparation of ML/TF related assessments
• Advising various KYC related issues raised by CLM KYC team
• Provide approvals on extension KYC and B&C validation
• Financial incident check and transaction look-back on ad-hoc basis
• Perform FS Risk Assessment survey every year
• Filing of STR/UAR if in case
• Involve FS related system implementation/upgrade 
• Endorse Compliance responsibility regarding Passport and Reliance as described in the related Group Policies and Compliance guidelines and notably:
  • As Primary Site Compliance, ensure the coordination with Compliance Secondary sites as per the policies and guidelines to ensure the ‘one voice’ principle,
  • As Secondary Site Compliance, answer in a reasonable period to any solicitation by a Primary Site on a KYC file,
  • Inform Primary Site of any event discovered at Secondary Site level as per the Policies and Compliance guidelines for Primary site to take it in account in the appropriate manner.
• As Compliance Primary Site Business Officer of clients’ HO, remains available to answer any question related to the decisions having potential impacts on all the entities of the Business Group (MSC, negative news, UBOs etc.)

Local Responsibilities

• Monitoring of Responsibility Map and Responsibility Manual 
• Preparing and reporting control plan(GCP/KPRI).
• Prepare and participate regular Compliance meetings/trainings.
• Filing of Compliance related documents
• Mandatory Leave Checking
• Circulate KFB Official letter/Internal group FS or Sanction bulletin
• Supporting for Compliance in preparation of all external inspection team request
• Assistance to Compliance Officer in compliance, other ad-hoc instructions
• Supporting for Global/Region project related with Compliance

Secondary Responsibilities

• Perform backup duties when required as described in R&R table

Technical and Behavioral Competencies required

• Fluent in English, Knowledge in Regulation, Procedure, Capacity for Coordination

Experience and Qualifications required

• Hands-on experience over 5 years in Compliance Work
