Job Title: Key Account Manager 

 

Business Unit: BNP Paribas 3 Step IT

Location: Triveneto (Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Trentino-Alto Adige)

 

 

Role Mission

 

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing team in the Triveneto region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing a new client portfolio within the medium to large enterprise segment, with a specific focus on IT leasing services. Annual ICT investment of target clients will typically exceed €250,000.

Key sales activities will include direct prospecting, strategic partnerships with ICT business partners, and collaboration with the BNL banking network to generate and convert opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Identify, approach, and acquire new clients through direct sales activities, with a strong focus on hunting and new business development.
  • Build and implement a comprehensive sales plan to meet and exceed sales quotas on an annual basis.
  • Nurture long-term relationships with technology business partners, driving lead generation and co-selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with BNL banking channel to leverage existing relationships and co-develop IT leasing opportunities in synergy with the bank’s portfolio.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead qualification to deal closure, ensuring a structured approach and timely follow-ups.
  • Understand client needs and present tailored IT lifecycle management solutions clearly and convincingly.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Triveneto market, IT leasing trends, and competitive landscape.

 

Required Profile

 

  • Bachelor’s degree – preferably in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Proven track record with 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in ICT services, IT leasing, or technology-related industries.
  • Experience in acquiring key new logo customers (hunting). 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build trust and credibility with decision-makers.
  • Skilled in Solution Selling with a demonstrated ability to build proposals. 
  • Ability to operate at C-Level within our customers (CIOs, CFOs & CPOs). 
  • Outstanding organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Deep understanding of leasing, operational rental models, and ICT procurement dynamics.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up capabilities, with a focus on long-term client development.
  • Solid knowledge of the Triveneto territory and its business environment.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
