About Business line/Function:
ALMT function is responsible for Asset Liabilities management and treasury activity of BNP Paribas. It also handles Bank’s funding needs and risk management activities.
Position Purpose
This is PMO Role to work closely with Paris ALMT IT CIO office.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
• IT Budgeting, Cost Planning, Monitoring and Control
o Collaborating with IT Delivery Leads, project managers and stakeholders to establish detailed project budgets, including resource allocation and cost estimation.
o Tracking expenses against budgets, identifying variances, and taking corrective actions when necessary. This could involve regular budget reporting, forecasting, and analyzing financial data to ensure financial health.
o Managing the financial aspects of IT vendor relationships, including contract management, invoicing, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Validate invoices with contracts and budget for payments.
o Overseeing the financial management of IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses, to ensure optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.
o Continuously reviewing and improving IT budgeting processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT project financial management. This might involve implementing new financial tools, training IT project managers on IT budgeting best practices, and ensuring compliance with organizational financial and IT policies.
• IT Portfolio Management – Control, Reporting
o Close followup of ALMT IT Project portfolio – Ensure clarity data management, IT Group Governance adherence by projects, control over key milestone & deliverables, followup of Risk & Issues, Project & cost delays
o Build associated reporting – PPM reporting towards CIO review, Inputs to various governance followups by Architecture, CIB teams. Formalize & raise alerts with recommended actions
o Followup with each project manager to ensure operational execution stays aligned to project plan & in respect of key delivery dates
o Regular meetings with Stakeholders (CIO, Domain Heads, PMO) giving them updates on project execution status on regular basis
• IT Asset Management – Control, Reporting
o Followup of ALMT IT assets (Applications & related attributes) in group defined golden source platforms
o Play a referent role towards maintaining quality of golden source data across various group systems
o Produce associated reporting & participate in regular meetings with stakeholders (architecture) , follow action plan to enhance data quality
• SLA Management
o Produce and Followup SLAs between ALMT IT and its client entities.
o Coordination with stakeholders from SLA proposal to final signature of SLA
o Management of IT Service catalogue attributes
o Production of KPIs as promised to clients in SLA

Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Technical :
• In-depth knowledge of the IT budget management
• Proficient in managing complex IT budget in a large banking organization
• Ability to analyse and identify discrepancies in the financial reviews
• A strong understanding of IT Infrastructure, networks, cloud platform, and databases.
• Knowledge of finance tools and processes
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory standards relevant to IT budget
• Proficient in creating detailed documentation and developing robust budget management process
• Good exposure to IT Project Management Lifecycle
• Good knowledge of MS Excel / MS Word / MS Powerpoint / PowerBI Dashboards
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
• IT Project delivery background
• Exposure to IT Asset Management concepts
• Exposure to management reporting · Clarity knowledge
• Experience in managing SLA discussions with cross border stakeholders

Specific Qualifications (if required)
• Any Graduation
• Domain knowledge and experience in IT Project Management
• Atleast 8 years of hands on experience as Project manager / PMO in IT Service industry
• Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
